Hopeless Heart

Hopeless Heart, by L.a. Belmonte

Under the dark sky of London town
 a new love has sprung.
A heart was caught silently
 by his awkward slanting smile.
...

His eyes spark like the gleaming London night
and those stares surely melt the other's heart.
As if his lips were delicate as flower buds,
Surely his kiss can wake a sleeping heart.

Yet again, as the other falls,
His hopeless heart indeed still hopes
that someday, this tall guy with a weird slanting smile
will look at him and say you're mine!
